7 Highest Grossing Nollywood Movies Of All- Time

The Nigerian film industry has produced several hit films over the last decade, bridging the gap between quality and revenue generation.

The Nigerian film industry is a constantly changing landscape. Even in Nigeria's cinephilia, Nollywood has long been in the spotlight. The industry is plagued by problems ranging from piracy to budget constraints, poor distribution, and low movie screens.

In context, the United States has nearly 40,000 movie screens, and India, home of Bollywood movies, has more than 13,000 screens. Nigeria, on the other hand, has less than 200 screens, so filmmakers can make as much money as foreign filmmakers.

This article focuses on the top seven Nollywood movies by sales.
