Nigerian singer, songwriter, politician, activist, and music executive, Olubankole Wellington is back with a new project tagged "The Bank Statements".
Following the release of his last project R&BW in 2013, Banky W teams up with a host of his friends for a new album called "The Bank Statements".
The 7-tracks album features Mercy Chinwo, Brookstone & The Lagos Community Gospel Choir, 2Baba, Timi Dakolo, Waje, and Seun Kuti.
The first track Welcome to the Bank Statements is a slow-paced jam that got Banky rapping and dropping some inspiring lines.
The second song Jo is the only single on this project. It is a mid-tempo R&B fused with Afropop. The record is an emotional and groovy love song.
For Song for You, Banky W performs a slow and rhythmic love song.
Press Start, starts the bible passage 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 which starts off saying "Love is kind..". Banky W wrapped on this one too.
Here is a groovy and danceable tune from Banky W-tagged Selense. The record features gospel artist Mercy Chinwo.
Brookstone and the Lagos Community Gospel Choir join the legendary Banky W o this new record titled My Destiny.
