EP REVIEW: Ladipoe - "Providence"

Nigerian rapper and performing artiste, Ladipo Eso who is popularly known as Ladipoe shares a brand new project tagged "Providence'.

The Mavin Records rapper, Ladipoe have been enjoying a good run in the last few months. Starting from his collaboration with Simi on "Know You" to his recent hit with Buju tagged "Feeling". The Nigerian musician grew from just a regular rapper struggling to make impacts to a hip hop tycoon enjoying all the lights and attention reserved for musicians in the center stage.

For "Providence", the new extended play of 6 tracks, Ladipoe teamed up with Rema, Fireboy DML and Amaarae.

The project is fire just as expected.

• The first record LOTR II is the second edition of his 'Leader of the Revival'. It is a mid-tempo melodic hip-hop jam with crazy instrumental and intentional rap lines from Ladipoe.

• In Afro Jigga, Ladipoe, Rema and Ozedikus cook up a potential hit song. The hook by Rema is classic, to say the least.

• Here is another beautiful tune from this rare Nigerian rapper. Ladipoe's Law of Attraction is more than a song. It's a groovy sexual melody.

• The next song is the only single on this record. Running featuring YBNL star, Fireboy DML released a few days before the Providence EP is a powerful tune. The synergy between these two artiste on this record is something else. It is one of my favourites tunes on this project.

• Featuring Ghanaian singer and performing artist, Amaarae, Ladipoe delivers a soul-soothing tune tagged Love Essential.

• To wrap up this journey Ladipoe pours his heart on this one. Providence produced by London is a conscious track from Ladipoe. With mind-blowing lifelines and exciting rhythms, Ladipoe ends this journey.
