Nigerian singer and performing artist, Paul Okoye who is professionally known as Rudeboy finally shares his debut album tagged “Rudykillus".
Rudeboy who is a pop singer and a member of the defunct music group Psquare dropped the 'Rudykillus' weeks after his brother Peter Okoye released his own solo debut album tagged 'Prodigal Son'.
The 15-tracks album by Rudeboy was released on August 5, 2021. It is a solo-performed album assisted with one single 'Focus' and three bonus tracks 'Audio Money', 'Woman', and 'Reason With Me'.
The first track Nowhere To Go is a slow-paced jam. Rudeboy pleads with his mysterious woman to follow him.
Ayoyo is one of my favorite songs on this project. The song is an amapiano infused afro-house tune.
Focus is the only single on this project.
The next song Ego Nekwu is a beautiful highlife tune by Rudeboy.
In Fall In Love, Rudeboy shares a reggae-influenced tune produced by Rudeboy and Chrisstrings.
Broke Land is one of my favourite jams on this project.
Rudeboy creates a groovy tune for his fans. The lyrics on Something Must Kill A Man are relatable and commendable.
Ihe Neme is another reggae-influenced tune. It is a gospel-infused tune that samples a popular Igbo medley.
The next song Catch Ya Fever is another groovy tune. It has elements of Afropop, reggae, and dancehall in the instrumental.
4 Days is another dope tune on this project. It is a melodic jam. It's still one of my favorites.
Hey Mama is surely one of the best tracks on this album. It's a beautiful dancehall melody.
In No Gimme Space, a mid-tempo hip hop tune with groovy heavy drums.
Woman is the first bonus song on this project. It is a groovy tune with amazing strings.
The next track Audio Money talks about people living fake life on Instagram.
The last song Reason With Me is a melodic tune. It's arguably his biggest song.
