Meet Blaqbonez: The Nigerian Prince Of Hip Hop

Permit me to address you as a social media dunce if you are a Nigerian based in Nigeria but don't know who Blaqbonez is. If not for his creative hard-core hip-hop lines, at least you should know him for his controversial tweets and videos.

The Chocolate City rapper has grown to be one of the kids who are driving the Nigerian music industry.

For the benefit of that, let's assist those who are getting to know about Blaqbonez.

The Nigerian rapper and performing artist, Emeka Akumefule, who is mostly known as Blaqbonez presents his new project tagged 'Sex Over Love'.

Blaqbonez is a fierce Rapper, popular for winning terry tha rapman Zombie Competition, Tosinadeda's radio palm wine's, in 2015 alone, was 1st Runner up in vector's king kong competition, won the Rhythmfm Freestyle Fury, and became RhythmFm's artist of the month, became the Hennessy Vs Class Captain, part of the soundcity blast cypher, also released his much talked about mixtape CTAT " Cassette Tapes and Tvs " grossing over 60,000 engagements in downloads and streams, which is his third mixtape, following hiphop in blaq " and the "Unfinished EP".

In 2019, he released a controversial song tagged BRIA declaring himself the Best Rapper In Africa. This caused a whole lot of drama on social media.

He has released four projects so far, Bad Boy Blaq (2018), Bad Boy Blaq Re-Up (2019), Mr. Boombastic (2019), and Sex Over Love (2020).

Blaqbonez who is signed to 100 Crowns which is an imprint of Nigeria's hip-hop label, Chocolate City released his solid 14-tracks album a few months ago. The album tagged Sex Over Love basically attempts to explain why Blaqbonez prefers sex to love.

The Nigerian hip-hop star, Blaqbonez features Buju, Amaarae, Nasty C, Joeboy, Tiwa Savage, 1da Banton, Bad Boy Timz, Laycon, A-Q, and Cheque.

The album features three previously released singles and 11 new songs.

Blaqbonez is surely the prince of Nigerian Hip Hop. His impact has been felt since his release of BRIA in 2019.
