Nigerian rapper and songwriter, songwriter, and recording artist, Gilbert Bani who is mostly known as A-Q return with a brand new project tagged "GOLDEN".
A-Q who is a co-owner of 100 Crowns a subsidiary of Chocolate City got nominated for Best Rap Single at The Headies 2016 with his single "Agu Ji Ndi Men".
The rapper teamed up with popular alternative singer, Chike, and BabyBoyParis for this amazing project that is strangely not assisted with a single.
In Abraham's Blessings, A-Q teams up with BabyBoyParis to share a beautiful hip-hop song with a melodic hook performed by BabyBoyParis.
The next track Shoot The Messenger seems to have been recorded during the End Sars protest and the ugly incident that happened at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020.
A-Q and Chike link up to create something magical. Chike's vocals and lyrics in this hook are spiritual. The lovely tune Breathe was produced by Beats By Jayy.
The next track was still produced by Beats By Jayy. The talented Nigerian music producer link up with A-Q for a rich hip-hop melody tagged HeLa.
The voice-over on this made it even more reliable not forgetting the choir-like background vocals that took the hook on System Failure. A-Q went in with a full voice to talk about the situation in the country.
After listening to this track, I came to understand how talented A-Q is in creating good music. Sossick gave him a spiritual instrumental to lay his vocals in Hardwired.
The last track seems to have A-Q spitting more fire than he did in the previous songs. The Nigerian rapper went hard on Read To Room to address trolling on social media and how social media trolls don't allow one to speak the truth.
