EP REVIEW: Erigga - "Before the Chaos"

Warri-born Nigerian rapper and performing artist, Erhiga Agarivbie who is best known as Erigga or Paper Boi shares a brand new project titled "Before the Chaos".

The Nigerian hip-hop act, Erigga comes through with another EP following the release of his Erigma II released in 2019. This project features a few fast-rising stars from his city just as he has done in the past.

In 'Before the Chaos' project, a mixtape by Erigga that's more like a forerunner for his incoming album features Jay Teazer, Oga Network, and Meph.

• In Many Nites , Jay Teazer joins Erigga to talk about being too busy to take up calls from haters. The song talks up hustling and grinding all through the night to make earns meet.

• The next song The End is a beautiful hip-hop jam from Erigga. It's a mid-tempo Afrobeat instrumental accompanied by Erigga's talk-rap flows. Erigga took out time to quote Wizkid on this track.

• Dick Appointment is surely one of the potential hit songs on this project. Jay Teazer's hook on this song really made me fall in love with this song. It's a beautiful melody.

• Erigga employs the services of his friend, Oga Network on this groovy dancehall tune tagged Wahala Dey. The song highlights a few weird things happening in the country.

• In I No Wear Pant, Erigga shares something his day-one fans will surely relate to. It's an X-rated slow-paced hip-hop jam.

• The last track features fast-rising performing artist, Meph in a beautiful slow tune tagged Don't Die Alive.
