Did Barry Jhay Really Kill His Boss? Here's Everything We Know

On Sunday 7th March, 2021, reports came in that Cash Nation Entertainment boss Kashy reportedly committed suicide.

Few minutes after the story of Kashy's alleged suicide came up, there were counterstories that Kashy died following a fight he had with Barry Jhay where the singer released a video of himself bleeding and Kashy telling him he still loves him probably after they both exchanged punches for reasons we are yet to discover.

However, there were still reports that Kashy was already battling depression. According to the reports, Kashy decided to end his life by jumping off his apartment after battling with depression for a while. The reports claimed Kashy might have taken his life following his case with the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) which led to his arrest by EFCC in June 2020. These stories were still adding up. In fact, even up till now, it's still sketchy.

To many, the story was a bit odd to be suicide. They questioned the authenticity of the story saying it's suspicious for someone to jump down to take his own life a few hours after having a clash with his signee Barry Jhay. Well of course there is something fishy between the lines.

Sir Kuti a friend of Kashy said that singer Barry Jhay involved aiye men in his fight with his record label boss. In his chat with an anonymous friend, Sir Kuti claimed the fear of the military police sent by the aiye men pushed Kashy to jump from the balcony that claimed his life.

Later, Barry Jhay was reportedly arrested in Ghana over his involvement with the death of his record label boss, Kashy Godson. Pulse NG made this report. They claimed the Nigerian singer, Barry Jhay has been nabbed in Ghana for his alleged involvement in the death of his record label boss.

A few minutes later, there were reports that an eyewitness gave an account of what really happened explaining why Barry Jhay is innocent of these allegations.

In the video, the eyewitness claimed Kashy's death is a mistake from the deceased. He explained that Kashy was a bit wild, noisy, and all after his fight with Barry Jhay. He also stated that the neigbours were trying to calm him (Kashy) down to stop him from disturbing the neigbourhood. However, Kashy decided to pull a stunt. The eyewitness said Kashy leaned on the railing of his fifth-floor apartment but sadly slipt off and fell to his death.
