Nigerian megastar, Niniola Apata who is professionally known as Niniola drops a brand new project tagged '6th Heaven'.
The new project is a solid body of work with no features. She came into the Nigerian music scene in 2013 with her participation in the sixth edition of Project Fame West Africa 2013.
Niniola also attended the University of Lagos where she earned a bachelor of education certificate. Niniola released her first single Ibadi in 2014. The song was produced by Sarz. The award-winning singer who was nominated as the Most Promising Act to Watch category at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2015 has grown to be a BET awards nominee and have been endorsed by the likes of Drake and Timbaland the American producer who produced most songs in her sophomore album Colours and Sounds released in 2020.
Niniola who describes her style of music as Afro-house joined Beyonce's soundtrack album The Lion King: The Gift with her song Maradona which was sampled in Find Your Way Back song. With that, she is currently a Grammy Nominee.
Though there are no pressures for a new project, Niniola premiers an R&B project titled 6th Heaven ahead of her incoming third studio album.
The first track The One is a slow-paced romantic song. Niniola attempts to pull a Ric Hassani on us. The melody and delivery were it for me.
6th Heaven is another melodic tune by the talented Niniola Apata. The song was performed in Pidgin and Yoruba. It's a relatable R&B song.
Niniola takes it high a bit on Promise. Like the others, it's also a groovy slow-paced bedroom song.
The next track Baby was produced by Yung Willis. The Highway crooner gave Niniola a mid-tempo afrobeat tune to offer us something away from the previous songs we have heard so far.
The last track is obviously one of the best songs on this project. Ryde is the vibe you're most definitely looking for.
