Nigerian Yoruba indigenous rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf also known CDQ presents his highly anticipated extended play tagged “See The Queue” EP.
The hardcore rapper known as CDQ premiers his third studio project on December 18, 2020. The new extended play comes two years after his last project. CDQ has previously dished out Quality (2016) and Ibile Mugabe (2018). His new body of work, “See The Queue” is a five tracks body of work featured Timaya.
CDQ picks up the "You're not even top 5 from Yoruba land
Mode, Eldee, Baddo, DaGrin, Remi', YCee and Falz
Omoh .. See-the-queue" line by MI Abaga on The Viper a diss track for Vector to caption his third studio project. The EP is supported by a single.
Production credits goes to Masterkraft, Orbeat, Jaypizzle and Vice Beatz.
Could Have Been Worse is a testimony. CDQ reflects on the horrible nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and how the world was able to handle it.
Total features Bayelsan born veteran singer, Timaya. The melodic vibe got CDQ and Timaya wondering how much they are worth.
Jaypizzle gifts CDQ an Amapiona afro-house tune in Moyan. I couldn't really connect with the lyrics but the melodies were intact. This is a masterpiece.
In Lai Lai, Jaypizzle and CDQ samples Akon's Don't Matter. This could be considered the weakest track of this project but surely has its market.
The last track, Omo Olomo is a thunderous trap track produced by Vice Beatz. CDQ carefully trades in his comfort zone as he drops some hardcore mad flows on this one.
