EP REVIEW: Zinoleesky - "Chrome Eccentric"

Nigerian pop singer and songwriter, Oniyide Azeez popularly known as Zinoleesky premieres his first body of work tagged "Chrome Eccentric". 

After pushing for fame via social media last year along with his friend Lil Frosh, Zinoleesky got noticed by Naira Marley. Words on the streets claimed Zinoleesky rejected an opportunity to be signed to DMW when his friend Lil Frosh was picked up by Aloma Music Worldwide an imprint of Davido's DMW. 

In December 2019, Naira Marley announced the addition of Zinoleesky to his record label, Marlian Music, alongside four other artists. Zinoleesky dished out a couple of songs under Marlian music before getting his first hit single in ‘Ma Pariwo'. The solo-performed track is a classic Afro-pop jam that has grown to be one of Nigeria’s sleeper hits of 2020.

To round up the year, Zinoleesky returns with Chrome Eccentric, his debut body of work. The singer plays with different genres and sexually enthralling tunes to unveil his diversity. The 6-tracks extended play was supported by two singles. 

• The first track "Angeli" is a mid-tempo Afrobeat jam performed in English and Yoruba. Zinoleesky pleads for forgiveness and an opportunity to make this right. 
  

• "Wo Ma Mi" produced by Rexxie is groovy, melodic, and danceable. Zinoleesky attempts to create a beautiful masterpiece on this one. 
  

• The third track "Mapariwo" is the first single released from this project and Zino's first-ever hit song. The jam is spiritual and captivating. 
  

• In "Nitori E", the Marlian Music artiste performs with thick sexy, and melodic vocals on a strange instrumental. 
  

• "Kilofese", a slow-paced Amapiano produced by Niphkeys. 'extraordinary things I'm doing, ordinary things no fit move me again' is the powerful hook that made this jam even more beautiful. 
  

• The last track "Bullet", is a lamba tune with calm and deep chords that portrays an electrifying synergy with Zinoleesky's lovely vocals.
