The beauty of music is the fact that different genres of music can still penetrate the same market. The genre of music someone listens to, as we are meant to believe, isn't necessarily a definition of their age but a revelation of their mood. This is why Wizkid "Made in Lagos" album could still thrive in the same market as Burna Boy's "Twice as Tall" album.
These two are widely known in Africa and beyond for preaching love, unity, and motivation in their sounds. Already, we know this article is not to talk down on any of these albums but simply a quest to find out which album we prefer. With Burna Boy bouncing back with the "Twice as Tall" with hope to regain a Grammy nomination as well as win the World album category and Wizkid finally dishing out his most highly anticipated fourth studio album "Made in Lagos", 2020 hasn't been a bad year after all.
