August was a huge month in Nigerian music industry. The likes of Burna Boy, Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold, DJ Cuppy, Patoranking and Tiwa Savage dished out their body of works. The 2020 global pandemic prevented entertainers from thrilling fans at live performances forcing most of them to record so many songs while on lockdown and releasing mixtapes, albums and extended plays.

In September 2020, Tems came through with "For Broken Tears" EP and Wande Coal with "Realms" EP. These two projects alongside grammy worthy "Twice as Tall" by Burna Boy, reggae-filled "Three" by Patoranking, and amazing performances on "Apollo" and "Celia" albums by Fireboy DML and Tiwa Savage respectively has really spiced up the second half of this year not forgetting "Afro Pop Vol 1" and "Original Copy" by Adekunle Gold and DJ Cuppy respectively.

The music scene would have boring if not for these project. Nigerian fans connect more with songs when they could vibe and dance to them at clubs, concerts, events and parties. The release of this multitude of projects has given the audience vast materials to explore.
